SUMMARY
The Recruiting Assistant I provides administrative support to the HR department with a primary focus on
recruiting and talent acquisition. This role assists the Corporate Recruiter with scheduling interviews,
maintaining candidate records, and facilitating communication throughout the hiring process. Additionally,
this position supports general HR administrative functions including file management, onboarding
coordination, and compliance tracking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in posting job openings across various platforms and tracking applicant sources
Manage company job-related content on social media platforms
Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate logistics with hiring managers
Conduct initial resume reviews and assist with phone screenings for entry-level roles
Maintain recruiting metrics (e.g., time to fill, time to hire) and prepare reports
Help manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate documentation
Create and update job requisitions and job descriptions as needed.
Support job fair and hiring event preparations
Assist in onboarding new hires
Support HR compliance activities, including EEO tracking and audit prep.
Provide administrative support for benefits, employee changes, and training coordination
Serve as a backup for reception or general HR inquiries when needed
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
environment.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.
Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.
Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Cooperate with Auditors.
Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
Administration preferred.
2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in HR or recruiting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with applicant tracking system (ATS) is
a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Professional Human Resources Certification or Society Professional Human Resources Certification
preferred.
