JOB SUMMARY 13;
The Advanced Analytics and Outcomes team works with service lines, departments, researchers and clinicians to improve and assess the value of care. The Quantitative Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the services our team provides including outcomes and measures development, quality and care improvement, value demonstration analyses, strategic planning and research. This position will support our work through an original data analysis project, report writing and the presentation of results to a clinical or operational audience.

The Quantitative Analyst Intern will:

Assist with analytic and evaluation efforts
:
Conduct quantitative analysis in support of meaningful pediatric health initiatives
:
Assist project team members in conducting quantitative analysis based on stated goals and preferences including selecting, managing data, choosing analytic approach and conducting valid data analysis
:
Outcomes will include an original analytic report and presentation to a clinical and/or operational leadership.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES* 13;
Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
