Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Quality Management Systems and contract specific Project Quality Plans. They ensure that the quality plan is executed in accordance with construction best practices and contract requirements. Quality Assurance Manager for all projects, responsible for implementing the quality plan specific to contract requirements and training thereof.
Experience: 10 years in quality assurance management with ASQ training certificates preferred. A four-year engineering, science, or technical college degree plus five (5) years of experience in a related construction and/or engineering field; an Associate degree in engineering technology or science plus ten (10) years of experience in a related construction and/or engineering field or; a high school graduate plus fifteen (15) years of experience in a related construction and/or engineering field with at least ten (10) of those years in a Quality position.
Qualifications: A thorough knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems; a broad working knowledge of the trades, disciplines, associated special processes, inspection and testing techniques, construction industry codes, standards and jurisdictional requirements (ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.); Strong public speaking and technical writing skills; Must be able to communicate to large groups of craft personnel as well as management and client teams; Ability to coach, mentor and train entire project staffs in quality management principles, procedures and project-specific requirements; Ability to lead and manage quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, Quality Incident Reports, Lesson Sharing and follow up inspections; Review and approved subcontractor quality plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements; ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification required.

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour
