The Defense Group of Leidos has an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on the AFNCR IT Services program. The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), leased spaces, and alternate sites within the National Capital Region (NCR). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. The major support areas are: Call Center, IT Desktop Support, Wireless Device Support, Server/Application O&M, Cybersecurity, Projects and Engineering.
Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to reduce and eliminate overall nonconformance to specifications, standards, and customer expectations for services rendered in the most effective and efficient manner in support of the AFNCR IT Services contract. The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the processes, systems and mechanisms by which all elements of performance measurement work together to provide a framework for linking performance requirements to strategic objectives, business plans, organizational mission, and ticket management. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the evaluation of performance based on the measures captured in Service Level Management plans, the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Performance Requirements (PRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Quality Assurance Engineer will conduct internal service process audits against the program documentation and Leidos command media. Findings from the audits will be analyzed via root cause analysis. The corrections and corrective/preventive actions will be documented and trends will be analyzed. Support will be provided for preparation, readiness and conduct of external assessments for ISO 9001:2015.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing guidance and oversight of the following Quality Assurance and Performance Analysis and functions.
Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance to customer requirements, program plans/procedures and Leidos command media.
Lead the collaboration with other service providers (e.g. AFNET, JSP, wireless providers) to provide an overarching understanding of supply dependencies that could potentially affect metrics.
Establish and maintain processes to continually improve the effectiveness of meeting performance metrics.
Provide management with varying levels of status on all performance related activities and ticket monitoring functions.
Coordinate with Work Center leads on implementing and maintaining Government Approved CONOPs on how best to meet contractual obligations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Lead all activities involving performance requirements compliance with applicable contract requirements, conducting performance audits and reviewing/analyzing data, deliverables, and documentation.
Provide data analysis including extraction, transformation, loading, and running reports and queries of associating performance data and metrics against applicable service level requirements via a metrics dashboard.
Assist the Quality Assurance department in the development and implementation of procedures and plans (e.g. QA Plan, QA Surveillance Plan [QASP] corrective action plans) for assuring quality products and services in an agile environment.
Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
CMMI-SVC implementation
ITIL v3 Foundation Level Certification
Quantitative analysis experience
DoD Enterprise Services experience (e.g. AFDW, HAF, AFNCR, DTRA, DISA, Joint Staff, JSP, HQDA, OSD)
