Job Location: Norfolk, VAJob Category: Engineering SpecialistJob Status: Full TimeNumber of Positions: MultipleJob Description: QED Systems, an established marine engineering, planning, and ship modernization firm, has multiple immediate full-time positions available for Diesel Program Engineer Managers to provide Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) system support services such as: operational and maintenance experience with diesel propulsion and power generating systems in accordance with Navy Standards.Job Requirements/skill sets: Candidate should demonstrate 15+ years of US Navy Engineman experience in of diesel propulsion and power generating systems, with specific operational and maintenance experience demonstrated on various engines. Candidate must also be proficient with the use of a computer and all Microsoft Office applications.Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering* 12 Years of Marine Engineering or US Navy Engineman experience with diesel propulsion and power generating.* May use related work experience to satisfy the target education requirements All current or former military are encourage toSecurity Clearance: Candidate will currently possess or be able to obtain at a minimum a Secret Government security clearance.
