The Service Billing Clerk/CSR will work in the Lovingston location of the Propane Operations Division providing impeccable customer service to walk in and phone customers and processing invoices for payment and preparing customer invoices with detail and care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare daily bills and invoices and complete the invoicing process for submission to customers.
Ensure actual cost match customer's quoted job specs.
Track Contractor/Builder multi-staged billing to ensure accuracy.
Generate recurring payments on accounts and reconcile monthly.
Maintain records for reporting purposes on all transactions.
Account for and maintain petty cash account.
Assist operations team in resolving issues or customer service problems.
File, Sign & track lease agreements of company owned assets.
Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding debt.
Call delinquent accounts to collect debt.
Mail correspondences to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
Support overall department goals and objectives and perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
Acknowledge and greet each customer that comes into the store in a warm and welcoming manner.
Engage the customer through conversation to determine the customer's needs.
Conduct cold calls to potential new customers and follow up on cold leads.
Assess he customer's needs and provides assistance and information on product features.
Provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values and benefits of each product.
Answer and return calls in a timely manner, utilize phone etiquette.
Ensure the store is neat, clean and organized throughout each business day.
Required on call and weekend work.
Track and maintain showroom appliance inventory

Required Skills:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or Marketing
1-2 years proven work experience in service billing
1-2 years accounting for and managing inventory
Previous experience in managing inventory, receive inventory, account for inventory, account for disposed/transfer of inventory.
Proven Customer Service skills resolving customer calls related to customer accounts and billing questions
Demonstrated phone etiquette ? Answering and returning calls in a timely manner.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft office suite. (Outlook, Excel Word
1 to 2 years of proven work experience as an Sales Associate.
Excellent team relationship skills.
Customer service focus

Preferred Skills:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or Marketing
1-2 years proven work experience in service billing
1-2 years accounting for and managing inventory
