Job Summary:
Assists the promotions or marketing departments with daily activities that promote the station(s), clients or events.
Responsibilities
Executes promotions such as remotes, events, van appearances, and other marketing and promotions team activities.
Coordinates contest prize inventory, prize sheets, prize fulfillment and release forms.
Set up and break down audio equipment, promotional tents, hang banners, and other staging elements.
Activates promotional events with games, music, and interacts with attendees.
Captures and recaps promotional events via photos, video, audio, social media, etc.
Required to drive promotional vehicles.
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and social media platforms.
Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time.
High work standards and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, collaborates with others; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations.
Actively listen; clearly and effectively convey information; demonstrate effective business writing skills; show excellent grasp of grammar.
Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift and/or move 40-45 pound objects.
Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week on a part-time basis, including days, evenings and weekends.
Work Experience
1-3 years’ experience in outdoor/on-site promotions and/or marketing and/or customer service.
Education
High school diploma; 4-year college degree preferred (emphasis in Communications, Advertising or Marketing).
