Job Description 13;
PSEs Pole Services team is part of the Product Development department which develops new energy products and services to meet customer needs. The Pole Services group specifically engages with PSEs municipal, telecommunications and construction development customers interested in street and area lighting, communication siting, wireless and other pole related services. Additionally this team is responsible for developing new smart city infrastructure opportunities that will leverage PSEs vertical pole assets.

The Project Manager II position will primarily manage the operation of PSEs Streetlight Maintenance Program, including customer service, restoration and repair activities, service provider performance, data integrity and map accuracy, implementation of smart street lighting tools, and establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers. The successful candidate may also provide project management support for other Pole Services projects.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSEs operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Job Responsibilities 13;

Coordinates resources, provides oversight and direction to team members.

Identifies the scope of an assigned project and decides logical action to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Communicates and manages the customer relationship as the primary point of contact.

Accurately identifies customer needs, sets reasonable expectations, identifies potential issues, and shares alternatives.

Facilitates communication between service providers and internal customers, which may include technical support.

Responds to customer concerns and works with appropriate parties for resolution.

Facilitates technical assistance to internal and external customers.

Applies general rules, standards and guidelines to specific technical problems.

Reports on project and program progress as directed.

Gathers, consolidates and analyzes facts in relation to project requirements.

Responsible for schedule and budget development, management and forecasting.

Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, standards and other requirements.

Supports emergency response work as requested.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications 13;
:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
:

At least four years relevant work experience including managing simple projects.
:

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to work as part of a team.
:

Basic knowledge and experience in scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance principles.
:

Basic knowledge in project management discipline to effectively arrange resources and manage multiple simple to medium complexity projects in a cross:functional environment.
:

Customer:oriented, a positive, team:oriented and collaborative attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.

Experience managing small projects or programs.
