HJF is seeking aProgram Coordinatorto support the Murtha Cancer Center located at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to the Murtha Cancer Center and WRNMMC.
The incumbent will provide administrative project oversight of a narrower scope under the direction of a supervisor. Coordinates the data review, manuscript assistance of Nurse Led Survivorship Care Plan (SCP) protocol. Assist with creation of Murtha Cancer Center (MCC) Cancer Survivorship Adult Nurse Practitioner role. Facilitates SCP compilation in all MCC departments. Assists with RedCap database. Completes more routine tasks independently and relies on guidance from higher Program Manager (PM) levels for more complex tasks.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision, ensures the terms and conditions IRB submissions are adhered. Assists in ensuring all required reports are completed and submitted on time. Manuscript preparation and assistance with submission to journal for publication (35%).
Coordinates the processing and analysis of data for completion of protocol and conduct of quality measures for cancer research projects (10%).
Communicates with internal staff & monitor compliance of survivorship requirements for the MCC. Create standardization protocol for role (10%).
Oversees development and implementation of new ANP role in Survivorship (15%).
Assists in overseeing and managing collection, maintenance, analysis and evaluation of data used in grant submissions, presentations and publications using RedCap (15%).
Provides programming support under the direction of a supervisor such as ensuring data is organized and assists in creation of new tracking system and programming progress (15%).
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of organizational objectives, ability to work completely independently, use sound judgement in solving problems, and coordinate many complex systems and programs simultaneously. Knowledge of project management principles, and good communications skills.
Minimum Education:Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements:3-5 years of relevant work experience required. Experience in cancer survivorship preferred.
Required Licenses, Certification or Registration:Oncology nursing preferred, RedCap.
Background/Security:U.S. Citizenship required; eligibility to obtain and hold a Secret Security Clearance.
