Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Product Delivery Manager (PDM)
assignment with one of our premier clients in
West Conshohocken, PA
. This is potentially a right-to-hire position.
The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) will handle digital product delivery for the firm. They have ownership of and handle the enhancements of one or more digital products (focused on the Sales, Marketing, and Services product line) along with the development of new digital products within that product delivery area. The PDM works closely and in partnership with stakeholders who use the products and solutions the PDM delivers to advance the firm's mission and business plan.
The PDM liaise with Division Leaders, Product Management, Architecture, Production Support, UI/UX designers and the Project Management Office to drive digital product enhancements and develop new digital products.
They are a
leader with an understanding of business goals, business processes and solutions delivery for the products which they deliver.
They handle delivery of digital products and solutions that meet the business needs. The products they deliver and the processes they design and deliver align with current best industry practices.
This person is responsible the planning and delivery execution of technology enabled business capabilities. They must meet those needs within the context of all enterprise architecture and practices presented by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
The PDM handles the identification and implementation of technology enabled business capabilities. They must understand business strategies, challenges and priorities. The PDM will collaborate with business partners, business analysts, project managers, architects and other areas of IT to define and deliver new technology enabled business capabilities. A PDM is supported by a cross-functional product line development teams including the Director of Product Delivery, Product Delivery Line Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, along with on and offshore application development teams.
Planning, construction, and delivery of technology-enabled products.
Partner with outside vendors in delivering products.
Develop, track, and control the annual operating and capital budgets for their products
Define costs, benefits, and schedule estimates for their products.
Work within the defined company's solution and data architectural standards and governance.
Understand the complexity of both the organization's business capabilities and the technology environment affecting their products.
Work cross-functionally with both business and IT stakeholders.
Help business leaders and their teams think through product decisions.
Remain current on industry-specific knowledge and emerging technology to determine their potential impacts on product delivery.
Develop productive relationships with product stakeholders and technology partners.
Follow the methodologies and practices for the product life cycle management as defined by the Product Line Delivery Manager and support the improvement and refinement of these practices based on continuous improvement.
Provide status reporting, metrics, and benchmarks.
Work with the IT Operations, Support and Production stakeholders to deliver products in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the products they deliver and minimizes the product's ongoing support costs.
5+ years' experience in progressively responsible information technology solution delivery.
Experience delivering and extending consumer or staff facing solutions.
Solid working experience deploying Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Digital Marketing, and other relevant platforms.
Sound background with Data Analytics and Management Reporting systems such as Google Analytics, Qlikview/QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Data modeling and information classification expertise at the product level.
Experience working with product managers, business analysts and stakeholders to identify and validate product features.
Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
Negotiation skills with business and technical groups.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
Ability to analyze solution needs, and determine the resources needed to achieve goals and overcome cross-functional barriers.
3+ years of experience in which one or more of the following occurred:
Demonstrated competency in the execution of large, enterprise projects.
Demonstrated competency in relationship management.
Gained experience in managing resources to meet goals and competing priorities.
Gained experience in leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
Strong Presentation and meeting management skills.
Ability to think critically and solve problems.
Strong understanding of software, hardware, development frameworks, and corporate technology and trends.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to independently drive resolution of issues and challenges and shape your own work based on the unique demands of your specific responsibilities.
Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts.
Strong consultative skills at a cross-functional level.
Capable of acting as a thought partner and trusted advisor in supplying oversight of portfolio, program and project health and assessment of opportunities.
Experience monitoring and controlling product development costs.
Curiosity to investigate industry standards and best practices.
Willingness to challenge the status quo and supply creative recommendations.
Strong analytical skills, highly organized and excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
