Job Description 13;
The Process Staff Engineer is responsible for supporting Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) activities for the Wafer Fab Process Engineering group. In this role, you will work as part of a cross:functional team to meet company:wide FDC milestones and objectives. As FDC is deployed, you will collaborate with process owners to ensure that effective controls and OCAPs are in place. When new issues arise, you will come up with innovative solutions to ensure robust process monitoring and control. You will provide technical support for the FDC system, help users overcome technical challenges, and support continuous improvement of process monitoring using FDC.

Primary Responsibilities: 13;
:
Collaborates closely with individual process engineers to select critical tool parameters and identify appropriate limits to implement in the FDC system
:

Provides technical support to the other engineers on FDC system utilization.
:

Drives activities to ensure that FDC deployments remain on track.
:

Assists Engineers in development of OCAPs in response to detected faults.
:

Ensures that data collection and chart framing selection is set up appropriately to meet the needs of Process Engineers
:

Supports selection, acquisition, installation, and implementation of hardware/software utilized to support fault detection systems
:

Monitors all FDC parameters on all tools and helps in notification of appropriate people for any OOC parameters and follow up on OCAPs
:

Helps process engineering in continuous improvement and selection of FDC parameters and optimization of specs for each parameter

Qualifications 13;
:
Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field
:
Minimum of 6:8 years of relevant experience, preferably in high volume manufacturing
:
Experience with FDC systems a plus
:
Knowledge of statistics and statistical tools
:
Knowledge of the wafer manufacturing process
:
Continuous improvement mindset and knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, statistical data analysis, Six Sigma, etc.
:
Effective time management: Adherence to schedule and prioritization
:
Ability to work well with individuals in the engineering community and other departments
:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive concurrent projects
