Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have Experience in Medical-surgical and Emergency Room (ER) nursing. This role requires a compassionate and adaptable professional who can provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Med-Surg and ER settings.Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments per physician orders.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and preventive health measures.Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA).Respond effectively to emergencies, stabilizing patients and assisting in critical care procedures.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate charting and documentation.Maintain a safe and clean environment while upholding infection control practices. Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license in [State].Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Med-Surg and ER nursing (Required).BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations.Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (nights), including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center is a plus.Certification in Med-Surg (CMSRN) or Emergency Nursing (CEN) is highly desirable. Job Types: Contract, Per diem
Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
