Key Accountabilities
This position is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Finance activities at a bakery. A close working relationship with the bakery management team must be maintained in order to provide financial analysis and business insight on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
:
Responsible for oversight / control of costs within the bakery.
:
Provides commentary for cost variances from expectation and relevant actions items as necessary.
:
Maintain ownership of the relevant financial statement assertions over the local balance sheet, including completeness of accruals, existence of assets and valuation of inventory.

Maintains and promotes a strong internal control environment within the bakery. Identifies possible weaknesses and develops systems/processes to close any gaps in conjunction with the financial policies of the company and IFRS

Coordinate the preparation of the annual bakery budget.
:
Ownership of accurate standard costs for all foods produced within the bakery.
:
Provide cost estimates for new food development which includes possible time/motion studies and eventual setup in SAP.
:
Assist with internal and external audits, answering queries and providing required supporting documents.
:
Participate in the Capital Expense Requests process as required. Monitor project progress and ensure that closing notices are processed in a timely manner.

Oversee bakery asset disposals and transfers. Perform fixed asset inventories as required.

Complete special projects or ad hoc requests as assigned.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and two:way communication with peers and other personnel throughout the company.

This position will be based in Northlake, IL. Annual travel beyond the Chicagoland area may be required to visit other bakeries and/or attend conferences (:10 travel).
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
:
5:7 years of related finance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
:
CPA and/or CMA preferred.
:
Knowledge of ERP manufacturing system, preferably SAP.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word processing software, Excel spreadsheet software and Outlook email software
