Summary:
•This position is a member of the Performance Improvement Team, which is dedicated to the systematic evaluation and adaptation of the functions, processes, services, and clinical practices within the Baptist Health system with a goal of achieving desired outcomes, better meeting the needs of our patients and community, and improving financial performance.
•The position will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the project management and tracking functions within the performance improvement team. These functions may include, but are not limited to: initiative tracking, project prioritization, opportunity identification, data interpretation, analytics and problem solving, and proficient growth in the wide spectrum of healthcare finance functions.
•This is a staff-level position that works closely with Performance Improvement Team Leadership, Operational Leadership, and other finance positions.
•Must possess strong problem solving abilities, analytical skills, and a desire to learn. A high level of communication and technological skills are required as well as the ability to work both in teams and sometimes with minimal oversight on less complex projects.
Other information:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Information Technology with one to two years of progressive work experience in health care finance preferred, or proven ability to meet the responsibilities of this position approved by senior management.
•Strong Microsoft Office Suite and system analysis skills required, with significant proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft SQL, Strata Decision Technology, and Epic is preferred.
•Ability to effectively interact with accountable department leadership and staff, in addition to the remainder of the organization
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
