PACCAR has an opportunity for a Payroll Tax Supervisor located at the companys global headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.
The PACCAR Payroll Team is searching for a self:motivated, enthusiastic professional with payroll experience looking for a career in a company that encourages growth and development. Job Functions / Responsibilities 13;
:Prepare and file federal 941 and 940 tax returns for all PACCAR companies.
:Oversee the filing of all State income tax and State unemployment insurance returns and deposits (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual).
:Oversee the reconciliation of all tax accounts.
:Review and resolve discrepancies in Savings Plan, Garnishments and Overtime accounts.
:Responsible for training and professional growth of the Payroll Tax Accountant.
:Support internal and external Payroll tax audits.
:Test and implement SAP tax updates.
:Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reports to various departments.
:Draft correspondence and oversees resolution of Federal, State and local tax issues
:Manage filing, archives; other document management.
Qualifications 13;
:3+ years of general accounting or payroll required.
:SAP experience desired.
:Automated payroll practices and payroll taxes in a multiple work group, multiple state environment experience preferred.
:Experience with system output review and reconciliation.
:Demonstrated ability to identify, research, analyze and resolve discrepancies.
:Possess PC fundamentals (document management, Word) and proficiency in Excel.
:Clear verbal and written communication.
:Ability to identify, research and resolve data errors, understand and communicate impact to others.
:Able to work within flexible priorities and sometimes short deadlines.
Education 13;
:Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required.
:CPP Certification desired.
:CPA Certificate preferred.
