We're looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their dynamic team in Richmond, VA. This is a part-time/full-time inpatient role working alongside APPs and therapists at multiple psychiatric hospital locations, with the potential to expand into outpatient work in the future.
You'll manage an average caseload of 10+ patients per day, focusing on diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care.
Report directly to the Chief Medical OfficerConduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plansCollaborate with families, psychologists, and healthcare teamsPrescribe and monitor medicationsTrack patient progress and adjust care plans as neededProvide compassionate support to patients and their loved onesRemain on-call as needed, supported by APPsStay current with emerging treatments and best practices in mental healthcare ? MD or DO, completion of Psychiatry Residency
? Board Certification or Eligibility (ABMS)
? Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills
? Effective communicator, able to simplify complex medical information
? Calm, empathetic, and patient-focused bedside manner
? Optional: Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
