POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Financial Planning and Analysis (FP and A) Manager position will be a key business partner in driving manufacturing operational performance across multiple sites within Environmental Solutions Group (ESG). The role will require driving continuous improvements in processes, efficiency, controls, operational flow and materials/inventory management across the value streams in collaboration with all the various levels of operational management. Working closely with the Plant leadership and Controllers, the position will identify root causes and determine collaboratively appropriate remedial action plans as well as ways to measure performance that drives sustained improvements from all team members. This will include establishing consistent operational metrics / analysis (e.g. SQDIP tracking), supply chain analytics, inventory controls and performing LEAN/Kaizen project analytics and measure the outcome of these initiatives.

You will help to drive working capital initiatives to minimize inventory at appropriate levels that supports customer needs and manufacturing lead times. You will support the Operations and Supply Chain leaders to drive process improvements, establish rigor and action with operational scorecard/metrics and reduce costs. You will support procurement strategies and logistic initiatives to reduce supplier costs and assess on time delivery performance both through 80/20 analytics. You will support the initiatives to improve quality and 1st pass yield.

You should be someone who wants to lead by example with a strong costing background in an engineering to order (ETO / customized) manufacturing environment, with a history and mindset that continuously improves processes and challenges how things are done. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership, good accounting skills / processes / cycles including forecasting, costing, budgeting and analysis. Youll need to possess excellent communication with an intellectual curiosity that drives a deep understanding of how things work that helps to identify key drivers and improvements. Youll also have a good business acumen with ambition and potential to move upward with the organization. The position will preferably be based in Fort Payne, AL and will report directly to the Vice President of FP and A of Environmental Solutions Group.
