POSITION: Onsite PC Technician - Builds, Inventory, Shipping
Work Schedule: 4 Ten (10) Hr Shifts (8am - 6pm/7am - 5pm/ 9am - 7pm) (Wed - Sat or Sun - Wed)
ROLE
:
Primarily responsible with receiving, imaging, configuring, and deploying equipment for our Home employees.
Responsible for maintaining an inventory of equipment.
Assist with diagnosing and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, computer peripherals, and/or miscellaneous hardware/equipment.
Work with a higher-level resource to resolve more complex problems.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Images, configures desktops and laptops for end users.
Receives, packages, and ships equipment
Maintains an inventory of computers and documents all repairs performed.
Installs and replaces computer hardware according to the needs of the customer (e.g., RAM,
NIC's, Modems, and hard drives).
Troubleshoots and repairs basic computer hardware and peripheral equipment problems.
Assists with the research of warranty information and may schedule warranty repairs at the
direction of a higher-level resource.
Required skills:
Basic knowledge of Information Technology, such as client, operating systems, components, PC maintenance, common hardware, and software related concepts.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve basic technical problems.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
May require prolonged repetitive use of the upper extremities.
Must be able to move and/or lift 50 lbs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and two years of experience configuring, diagnosing, and repairing computer systems, desktop, laptop and miscellaneous hardware equipment, including experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
