MRB ENGINEER (Avionics)
Sysazzle is seeking a highly motivated
Material Review Board
(MRB) Engineer

to support the production of military grade avionics equipment in the company’s AS-9100 production line.

We are seeking an MRB Engineer who will develop timely and cost-effective dispositions for nonconforming components and assemblies that do not meet design requirements through the MBR process. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver, with a track record of investigating and creating effective novel solutions within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the disposition and closure of nonconforming material associated with the manufacturing and assembly of electro-mechanical LRUs
Lead the troubleshooting efforts that result in finding the reasons for avionic related product returns/ failures
Lead the dispositioning of non-conforming hardware/ material(s) and support corrective action activities as require
Lead the evaluation and coordination of non-conforming material associated with receiving material from suppliers
Coordinate with design engineering and program management to determine cost effective dispositions of non-conforming material
Meet with suppliers to drive the improvement of supplier quality
Coordinate RTV dispositions with suppliers for timely resolution
Facilitate configuration changes of old revision parts to the latest configuration
Facilitate and monitor the shipment and return of nonconforming material to suppliers and back to company after resolution
Track trends and areas for design improvements due to recurring nonconforming material
Other duties as assigned by management.

Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required (BSEE strongly preferred)
Experience in Design, Manufacturing, and/or Quality Engineering in aerospace; commercial and/or defense
Experience with MRB process is a plus
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills (innovative, creative thinker, takes initiative)
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance or have an active Secret Security Clearance
