Our office in the Greater Chicago area is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our Corporate Development team within the wealth management industry.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in investment banking or corporate development who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
You will play a key role in evaluating strategic opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and supporting the execution of M&A transactions that align with our wealth management growth strategy.You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused professionals who are focused on delivering on our founding core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial, Inclusion and Connection. Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 plus annual bonus Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct financial modeling and valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies, etc.)
to assess potential acquisition targets in the wealth management sector.Prepare materials and investment memos for internal stakeholders.Develop and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch decks to executive leadership.Support due diligence efforts by coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors.Track industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets in the wealth management space.Assist in post-merger integration planning and execution.Qualifications 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel requiredExcellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to create compelling presentations.Solid understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation principles.Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldExperience working on live M&A transactions.Familiarity with data rooms and due diligence processes.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.What We Offer We offer a highly competitive suite of holistic benefits designed to help our team members balance their personal and professional life commitments.
