!Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director, the MLT/MT is responsible for providing efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory to provide quality patient care services.Minimum Education:Associates Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited college.Required Licenses/Certifications:MT/MLT preferred ASCP/AMT/ AAB registered, experience preferred.Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, and Limited Microbiology.Work Schedule:7 on, 7 off , must be able to work alone, phlebotomy is a must.
The position will also be responsible for maintenance and quality control.This department provides coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week including weekends and holidays.
Generally scheduled 8-12 hour shifts.
Schedules and work shifts may be changed with respect to patient procedure demands.
