The Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading and collaborating on the execution of the company?s overall marketing strategy by supporting our corporate executive team and internal/external customers with various marketing initiatives and activities. The Marketing Specialist is a dynamic contributor in a wide variety of areas across the corporate marketing spectrum, including communications, branding, sales/marketing materials, social media, trade shows, career fairs, event planning, advertising and public relations. The Marketing Specialist is competent in balancing a heavier workload and understands how to prioritize well, utilizing standard overtime as projects require. This person acts as a mentor to others and is capable of leading and training others.


Education:Bachelor or Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business

Experience:5 to 7 years of corporate marketing experience is required


Ensures marketing messages are consistent with the company's overall branding strategy
Drives recruitment marketing initiatives through multi-tiered strategies including collateral, social media, advertising, online reputation management, and events
Assists company leadership and various internal departments with public relations, program development and overall promotions and communication of initiatives
Provides innovative brand support for corporate meetings, parties, and events including agenda development, registration, venue selection, facility needs, catering requests, speaker coordination, invitation lists, sponsorship information, attendee materials, promotional/marketing materials, and multimedia/presentation requirements
Leads the brand strategy for trade show and career fair events including registration, selecting exhibit display and graphics, identifying and ordering promotional materials, printing marketing collateral/brochures, and coordinating shipping details. Works with graphic design to develop new trade show graphics. Creates and sends custom pre-event marketing material.

Leads the strategy for the online company store platform, including, but not limited to, updating pricing, monitoring inventory levels, and product selection. Coordinates details for special internal promotions (i.e. safety challenge gifts, NPG and Safety incentive programs, employee service awards.
Provides backup to team members, including, but not limited to, the maintenance of the various corporate social media platforms, company website, collateral, project award entries, etc
Commits to the company?s vision and mission and core ideology to consistently demonstrate our core values.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned including, but not limited, to receptionist and office service duties.
