JOB SUMMARY 13;

Provides strategic direction for analytic, reporting, and Revenue Cycle system support, including daily support and management of both core and bolt:on software applications used to manage the revenue cycle. Oversees the development and monitors/generates reports related to all revenue cycle areas. Produces reporting and provides analytic analysis of data to Revenue Cycle leadership and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Acts as liaison with Information Systems and Technology, Budget and Decision Support, Finance, and other departments as related to revenue cycle metrics, systems, and results. Serves as primary Revenue Cycle contact for outside system vendors and representatives and as a key leader involved in strategic business projects related to the revenue cycle. May be asked to lead projects sponsored by Vice President, Revenue Cycle or Revenue Cycles directors.

EDUCATION 13;
:Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY 13;

EXPERIENCE* 13;
:2 years of experience in leading application implementations or upgrades
:5 years experience in healthcare patient accounts, managed care, or finance
:2 years of experience in working with finance and revenue cycle leaders and staff, including senior administration, to define data and functional requirements of systems, reports, and analytical output

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* 13;
:Masters degree
:Experience in project management

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES* 13;
:Strong skills in both analytics and reporting, including experience in database management, healthcare system applications, and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL Server, QlikView, or Tableau)
:Knowledge of key Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta revenue cycle applications, e.g., Epic Resolute, Cadence and Prelude, SMS InVision, IDX, XactiMed electronic claims editing and submission, or comparable system
:Able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities
:Ability to communicate well and present findings verbally and via presentations, spreadsheets, and written documents
:Ability to multitask and work both independently and within teams

:Provides leadership to internal initiatives and activities related to revenue cycle data, analytics and reporting.
:Works with senior Revenue Cycle leaders to identify and address issues related to performance.
:Oversees revenue cycle technology system, including admitting/registration, scheduling, and patient accounting applications.
:Possesses detailed knowledge of core systems and all bolt:on software solutions.
:Serves as primary point of contact for both internal and vendor support resources.
:Partners with Information Systems and Technology to identify appropriate support mechanism to achieve resolution.
:Monitors outstanding issues and reports impacts as needed.
:Acts as key data manager for revenue cycle master report writing and ensures the integrity of data provided to all areas.
:Leads revenue cycle analysis and provides trends to senior leaders across the organization.
:Participates as lead resource in internal and external meetings to help explain data trends and find a root cause in revenue cycle issues.
:Represents Vice President, Revenue Cycle at meetings and takes responsibility for ensuring all follow:up items are responded to timely and in appropriate detail.
:Acts as lead resource in coordinating revenue cycle system enhancements, upgrades, and replacements with Information Systems and Technology, Supply Chain, and other areas/departments as needed.
