About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of the Rippling PEO team.
As Manager, PEO Workers' Compensation for Rippling, you will be responsible for managing our workers' compensation benefit offering and a team of high performing workers' compensation specialists.
You will work closely with our workers' compensation carrier, insurance broker and internal teams to streamline policy quoting and binding, manage workers' compensation risk, and optimize the book's performance.
This is a highly cross-functional role with a direct impact on Rippling's operational and financial performance.
The Manager, PEO Workers' Compensation role is highly visible with rapid growth potential as the PEO WC team scales.
What You Will Do:Partner with product and engineering teams to design and implement scalable processes and systems to manage workers' compensation quoting and risk efficientlyHire, mentor, train and develop a team of workers' compensation underwriters and specialistsDevelop and oversee strategies to identify, assess and mitigate risk, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirementsLaunch, develop and maintain up-to-date standard operating proceduresEstablish, monitor and own key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders to ensure operational targets are metMonitor and update the workers' compensation risk appetite to align with strategic growth goalsSupport and execute financial audits and other adhoc projects for the PEO teamManage payroll, billing and invoice reporting and reconciliationsWork cross-functionally to drive improvements in our risk assessment, underwriting and quoting process that lead to efficiency gains and improved client experience inside of Rippling's productExecute and negotiate annual renewal, pricing strategy and annual carrier auditWhat You Will NeedAt least 7 years of experience in workers' compensation underwriting or risk management; at least 2 years of experience as a people managerProficiency in Salesforce, Excel and Tableau; bonus points for SQL and SnowflakeExperience implementing automation and technology solutions to manage pre-qualification, underwriting and policy bind workflowsMastery of time management, balancing competing priorities, and executing tight timelinesExceptional analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make data driven decisionsAn eye for process improvement; you like to dig into the details to surface learnings that enable us to better meet our commitments to our clients and partnersExcellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative and cross-functional mindsetPassion for fast-paced, tech-centric organizations with the proven ability to build and scale teams, processes and tooling from the ground upAdditional InformationRippling is an equal opportunity employer.

Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
The pay range for this role is:
100,800 - 176,400 USD per year (US Tier 1)
90,720 - 158,760 USD per year (US Tier 2)
85,680 - 149,940 USD per year (US Tier 3)
