Responsible for the planning and execution of operational readiness initiatives impacting Back Office and clinical operations within the Community Group Practices (CGP), with a primary focus to support the development and operation of the Patient Service Center (PSC).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Attracts and retains a highly effective operations readiness staff through mentoring, coaching, development and performance appraisals.
2. Primary architect and support manager of the PSC quality, documentation, call forecasting, and data reporting programs.
3. Primary point of contact for the addition of new departments to the PSC and manages the integration from the initial request through final hand:off to PSC leadership.
4. Manages operational issues and ensures operational expertise related to the phone system and call reporting infrastructure.
5. Manages and maintains the knowledge management tools used within the PSC.
6. Assists in identifying, prioritizing, and providing operations readiness support to regional departments.
7. Manages projects to completion within prescribed timeframes and budgets.
8. Identifies process improvement opportunities to ensure patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.
9. Coaches, mentors, and instructs staff who will be supporting the documentation, quality, forecasting, and reporting duties.
10. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

ü Bachelors degree with 5 years of operations management experience in a health care or service environment required.

ü Masters degree preferred.

ü Thorough knowledge of the operational components related to running a call center required.

ü Experience managing a call center ACD system, preferably Avaya CMS, or the demonstrated ability to learn the system within 6 months, required

ü Demonstrated project management experience required.

ü Excellent presentation skills with small:to:medium sized groups.

ü Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.

ü Capacity to show sound judgment in accomplishing specified job duties.

ü Experience with the EPIC, Centricity and Allscripts medical record applications preferred.

ü Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask effectively.

ü Strong analytical and problem:solving skills required.

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:

ü PMP certification or training preferred.

ü Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months, required.
