Position Summary

Are you are a driven senior-level marketer with experience managing global paid media programs? Do you crave data and leverage it to build innovative digital media strategies? If so, then we want to meet with you!

Our Center of Excellence is seeking a Manager, Media Strategy to drive the growth and development of our Global Media Strategy Team. This individual plays a critical role in orchestrating global end-to-end paid media activities that support workflow efficiency, channel strategy, ad operations, agency management, optimization and performance reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

Own, plan, and implement a global multi-channel media strategy to drive demand for F5 solutions and products.

Drive roadmap enhancements that continually advance and develop media strategy capabilities.

Own/track/reconcile global paid media budget and provide visibility and reporting to Executive Leadership and Finance.

Develop and own the relationship with our global media agencies.

Lead and inspire a team of media strategists and SMEs to plan, execute, and optimize digital media programs across four global regions.

Collaborate with SMEs across the organization to support and elevate Media Strategy (audience strategy, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Brand, Portfolio, ABM, etc.)

Drive benchmark standardization and improvements by developing a standardized optimization and testing approach.

Report on return on investment and attribution across all media spend and channels in weekly and quarterly business reviews.

Recommend and own onboarding of AdTech to build a best-in-class global media program.

Provide recommendations and insights to influence media content strategy and digital user journeys to drive innovation.

Own and evangelize paid media best practices across the global marketing organization.

Identify and evaluate new channel/partner opportunities.

Champion the ongoing development of media workflows, relationships and tools.

Responsible for upholding F5?s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience across all media types (Display, Search, Social, Programmatic, Syndication, CTV, etc.)

Experience utilizing advanced media attribution and modeling insights in order to optimize media investments.

ABM experience strongly preferred.

Broad understanding of back-end AdTech including tagging, tracking and data flows.

Excellent leadership abilities that inspire and drive teams to deliver results.

Ability to quickly asses data and develop/deploy an action plan.

Qualifications

BA in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of media experience, with a proven record of achievement and impact in a global role.

5+ years within a B2B Digital Marketing team.

3+ years of experience managing a team and working collaboratively across a global organization.

Ability to extract and present complex data and media insights effectively - both verbally and visually.

Background in digital media planning, consulting, agency experience in Display, Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO, Programmatic, CTV, etc.

Experience or familiarity with tools such as Adobe stack (Marketo, Bizible, AEM, AAM, Analytics & Target), Demandbase, Integrate, Mintigo, and TechTarget Priority Engine, a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.

This position qualifies for a flexible work schedule allowing for part-time work from home and some days in the office. Schedules are determined between the manager and employee.

Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.

Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 20% of the time spent traveling.

Job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
