Job Description

SSR Mining a leading, free cash flow focused intermediate gold company with four producing assets located in the USA, Turkey, Canada, and Argentina, combined with a global pipeline of high-quality development and exploration assets in the USA, Turkey, Mexico, Peru, and Canada. In 2019, the Company's four operating assets produced over 720,000 ounces of gold and 7.7 million ounces of silver.

The Manager Business Applications will provide application systems delivery oversight and governance to ensure consistent and efficient execution of projects and programs across the organization. This individual will assist with business need definition and technological solution recommendations. The Manager, Business Application will provide application systems post-implementation application lifecycle management oversight and governance.


Building and maintaining strong business relationships to ensure Information Technology furthers the Company's business objectives and drive value to the business.
Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to promote the adoption of the IT PMO framework and ensure the business requirements, project roles and delivery timelines are defined and agreed upon.
Maintaining project metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
Supporting IT delivery transformation initiatives for successful delivery and management of IT applications and systems. The initial areas of focus for processes, tools, and techniques will be those required to achieve business results, e.g., Requirements Management, Change Management, Testing Management, and Deployment Methodologies.
Supporting transformational improvement efforts for the business to ensure delivery beyond the status quo.
Collaborating with business owner, delivery teams and IT operations to ensure procedures and standards for the organization related to end-to-end application implementation and management are maintained.
Collaborating with stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and outsourced suppliers to ensure that Service Level Agreements are understood, applicable, monitored effectively, and managed to meet business performance objectives
Monitoring, evaluating, and managing the performance and quality of IT outsource suppliers' business processes and operational delivery.
Understanding supplier agreements in terms of business and operational impact and making recommendations to ensure business objectives are achieved and supported.
Gathering, documenting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data and information and succinctly present tailored findings to various

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technology, or related field with 7+ years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Experience managing IT project teams in the delivery of application support services, including, day-to-day delivery and reporting, problem resolution, and service delivery improvements.
Experience evaluating and implementing internally and externally hosted systems and solutions.
Experience leading multiple complex projects in the technology industry along with associated project and change management methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches.
Ability to lead teams of diverse people with competing priorities to accomplish a common goal for both small projects and transformational programs.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to drive decisions through consensus, influence change, and effectively resolve conflicts.
Must be self-directed and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and ability to follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives with minimal oversight.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions and recommendations that balance a variety of factors.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interface with all levels of the organization's management and staff. Ability to clearly present material and address technical concepts in terms of operational impact.
Strong project management skills, including indirect staff, consultants, and suppliers.
Demonstrated experience in developing and monitoring budgets.
