Maintenance Manager

Things you should know about working as a Maintenance Manager:

The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include providing leadership and direction for the Maintenance Department for a large volume facility (50,000+ cases). The Manager develops the supervisors that are in the Department and the Maintenance personnel as well. The Manager promotes a team environment through supporting the maintenance team and fostering cooperation and customer service to the departments internal customers. The Manager should also provide a long range and strategic vision for the department within the guidelines of Maintenance Systems that is directly in line with the goals of the facility and company. Finally, the Manager should be a resource for both Supervisors and other Maintenance personnel in the accomplishment of their goals.

What would success look like?

* Meet with the Maintenance Supervisor(s) to discuss any Mechanical Opportunities

* Conduct a Root Cause analysis through PHRED if 2 hours of un:scheduled downtime occurs on a specific piece of equipment

* Support the Consolidated Management System by complying with the standards outlined by Maintenance Systems

* Meet with the Management Team as planned by the Plant Manager to Review issues that may have occurred and have not been communicated to this position. Review and discuss Production rates, quality and Key Maintenance Indicators

* Walk the Production floor asking the operators how the equipment is running looking for any Maintenance items that may require attention prior a failure occurring

* Spend time in your team area or shop to communicate Proactive Maintenance principles and to listen to each team member on any issues that may require your attention

* Verify GMP within the Maintenance areas, participate in the Plants Systems (Gemba) walks, Security walks, Safety and Environmental walks as scheduled

* Ensure that all required KPI documentation is updated, recorded and report on per Coca:Cola Consolidated requirements. Implement improvement plans as needed to reach required goals

* Prepare and maintain an agreed upon Budget for the department. Notify the Plant Manager upon any huge discrepancies

* Work with the Plant Manager and Engineering Director to complete an annual Capital Budget plant to include supporting the installation of any new equipment

* Maintain a well:trained Maintenance team that supports a Pro Active Maintenance work environment

* Budget management including parts and repairs, building maintenance, payroll

* Support KPIs for plant and maintenance: Cost per Case; Line Efficiency; Staffing; Safety; PM compliance; of hrs. for Corrective work, PMs and Emergency work; Equipment downtime; Inventory accuracy, value and management; Schedule utilization and compliance; Labor utilization and ensp; and ensp; and ensp; and ensp; and ensp;

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ years as a Maintenance Manager in a like business

* Background in a Pro:Active Maintenance system environment preferred to include working with ISO Standards

* Experience using SAP Maintenance

* PLC background helpful

* Four:year degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical discipline a plus but can be offset by experience.
