Maintenance Helper - Mechanic & Oiler
Who Are We?
Since 1996 Rummel Construction, Inc. has been a prominent figure in the earthmoving business in Arizona and beyond. We're a Heavy Civil General Contractor that self-performs the majority of our work. We run all our maintenance in-house, with experienced heavy equipment mechanics, helpers, Service Technician - Oilers and more. Whether it's being fixed in the field or at our shop, our employees understand the importance of working safely, working together, and towards the same goal.
We even do all our own heavy haul transport, moving scrapers, dozers, excavators and more throughout the southwest. That means, if you need to get something back to the shop, or if you need a part delivered, we've got you covered.
With In-house training programs, tool purchasing programs, paid holidays, 401k, medical/dental/vision, etc, we've got your back. Check us out and see how you can become a part! .
Who Are you?
You're someone who enjoys working outside, with their hands, and is mechanically inclined. You may have worked in an automotive repair shop, oil change place, or just simply like tinkering with your own vehicles. You're not afraid of getting dirty, working outdoors in all conditions and you learn quickly. Ideally, you'll want to be a mechanic with a truck of your own someday.

Along the way, you're learning how to troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment and gain new skills. This is a safety-sensitive position, see below for details.
Experience working with hand and power tools, whether in a shop or in your home garage is preferred. We're looking for candidates who want to learn the trade firsthand and grow into their own Mechanic or Service truck over time. You must be at least 18 years old. Our projects span the Southwest US and you'll need to be willing to travel as needed to project sites.
