Opening Overview:Schedule: 8-hour day shiftsCall: Unrestricted shared weeknight call (5p-9a), unrestricted weekend call (9a-9a)Call and ambulatory coverageEMR: EpicMust be board-certifiedPaid travel & expensesQualificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)National Institutes of Health (NIH) certificationSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.Active unencumbered MD or DO New York state licenseGraduate from a fully accredited MD or DO programOne year of work experience as a Pediatric NeurologistOne year of EMR experienceBoard CertifiedSkills/Abilities/Competencies Required:Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.Participates in relevant continuing education programs.Dedication to the highest patient care and service excellence.Ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians, staff, and management.Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks.Requirements:COVID vaccine with 2 shots & booster.
