Summary:
The right candidate will possess a positive and professional image and be able to work with the team to achieve the desired goals. This is a full-time position that includes weekends.
Job Responsibilities(not limited to):
Answer incoming phone calls and solicit appointments
Greet all community center walk-in traffic (residents and prospective residents)
Follow up and communicate with prospects and applicants promptly
Show apartments to prospective residents
Maintain model apartments in pristine condition
Inspect apartments for move-in readiness
Assist residents with the online resident portal and the processing of work orders
Assist in lease renewal programs
Process applications, certifications and closing documentation
Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current residents and other guests
Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of the community marketing plan
Prepare accurate traffic activity reports and market surveys
Assist community manager with tasks as directed
Plan and host resident events and activities
Touring the apartment property with prospective residents
Other duties as assigned including some general clerical work
Qualifications:
High-School Diploma or GED;
Minimum of one year of sales or customer service experience;
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to be part of the team;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Ability to multi-task and remain organized
Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (knowledge of Yardi property management software preferred);
Familiarity with email, Facebook and other social media venues;
Proficient in using standard office equipment;
Previous apartment leasing experience ? preferred;
Previous new apartment lease ramp-up experience ? preferred;
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws ? preferred;
Real Estate sales license ? preferred;
Able to pass a required background check and drug screen.
