Our Early Childhood Development Program is unique and nature-based at Building Blocks Preschool has a new position early childhood daycare assistant teacher for our Preschool.
This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in early childhood education/childcare settings and a Bachelors Degree or Associates in ECE minimum.
If you are a collaborative team member, have strong communication skills, are mindful, like family interaction, and a love of children this is a position for you. Understanding of Reggio Emilia Inspired practice, Environmental Education, and project-based practices is helpful.

Lead Preschool Teacher requirements
Lead Preschool Teacher must meet ALL State of Michigan child care licensing requirements for teachers/caregivers. Applicants must be available Monday through Friday from 7 am till 5:30 pm. This will be 35-40 hours per week. These positions hours will be 8:15-5:30. Availability till 5:30 is required. Please include a cover letter with your resume. Please include your education, specific early childhood classes, and past work experience. Only applicants with the required credentials need to apply.

We have daily health screening of staff and children. We require staff to wear masks when in close proximity to the children. No mask is required while working outside. We are outside 70% of the day. Cleaning protocols are in place.
