Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission.

Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities.
The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Orientation is weekly, on Mondays
Weekends: Every Other
Weekend Hours: 24 per pay period
Must be proficient and independent in labor management
Patient Population e.g. "geriatric, adult, peds, etc.": adolescent and adult female patients
Must Have Skills/Experience: labor management, circulate cesarean section, OB triage
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Labor & Delivery management
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Labor, Pre-term labor, vaginal delivery, cesarean section, Pregnancy complications
Required Education: Associate Degree or BSN
National Inpatient Obstetrics Certification Preferred
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring) or the alternative certifications Advanced AWHONN FHM (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses), C-EFM (National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties)
