Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is looking for candidates to perform Knowledge and Collaborations Engineer duties to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Transforming All-Source Analysis with Location-Based Object Services (TALOS) to advance the state of the art in Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics to enhance the DoD's and the Intelligence Community's (IC) information processes and technical architectures.
DIA's mission partners in the Combatant Commands (COCOM) J2 Intelligence Directorates have the need for Big Data systems processing intelligence data for processes varying sets of classified and unclassified Intelligence data. The Knowledge and Collaborations Engineer will perform duties as a TALOS DIA COCOM representative to the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Intelligence Directorate (J2) at Omaha, NE. In support of this effort, the Knowledge and Collaborations Engineer provides advice and guidance to the J2 to achieve goals in accordance with established DIA modernization policies. Designs and implements tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the DIA modernization enterprise. Draws out, captures and categorizes desired information by direct communications with the local end users. Develops storage platforms, index strategies and user interfaces for knowledge assets. Implements workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms.
Additional duties may include:
Training (local or travel CONUS/OCONUS to support components)
Maintaining requirements for functional and technical needs
Briefing senior staff on integration of new/updated technology
Supporting integration solution for crisis support
Records/Object management and governance policy development
Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience in computer science, data analytics, or national intelligence related fields.
Experience in intelligence applications and tools or data integration for Object Based Production (OBP) at the COCOM or equivalent level.
