Salary: $235,000-$260,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the defense in complex patent litigation matters across various industries.Conduct thorough legal research and craft high-quality, persuasive motions, briefs, and other critical litigation documents.Engage actively in all phases of the discovery process, including conducting depositions, managing document reviews, and preparing expert witnesses.Collaborate closely with a team of skilled attorneys to develop strategic approaches tailored to each case, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.Handle case management duties diligently, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and procedural guidelines to uphold client interests.Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a renowned top-tier law school coupled with a strong academic track record.Mandatory Bar Admission in California.At least 2-3 years of substantive experience in complex litigation focused on defending patent litigation cases.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting.Exceptional writing, research, and analytical capabilities necessary for effective litigation.Preferred Qualifications: A technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is highly preferred.Skills: Strong litigation skills with the capacity to formulate and articulate legal strategies effectively.Robust interpersonal skills to foster client relationships and work cooperatively across teams.Outstanding organizational skills for managing multiple timelines and case requirements efficiently.Benefits: Competitive compensation package including discretionary bonuses and firm-sponsored incentive programs.Comprehensive suite of employee benefits.Flexible hybrid work schedule to support work-life balance while ensuring collaborative opportunities.
