Java Developer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Java Developer for a 12- month contractual opportunity (excellent opportunity for extensions). Our client is allowing the folks to be in either Summit, NJ or Raleigh, NC. The qualified candidate will act in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. You must have a strong experience in Java Spring Boot / Spring Cloud framework along with a solid understanding of OOPS, Application Design principles, architecture styles and APIs (WCF/Web API/Rest API). Experience in developing medium to large size batch processes in Java and Java framework (Spring batch, SCDF).

Required Skills:
2+ years working in Agile
3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
5+ years of Java experience
5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
3+ years of Microservices development experience
1+ years of DevOps experience
3+ year of web client side development using Angular or React
API programming experience

Desired Skills:
BS Computer Science degree or higher in information technology
UDeploy, Jenkins, Gradle or Maven and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
3+ years of SQL experience
3+ years of experience with container-orchestration tools like Kubernetees
