We do this throughcapital solutions, policies and programs. The Chicago market is oneof Enterprise?s anchor offices and provides thought leadership in response tocritical social issues. This internship is an excellent opportunity for astudent interested in gaining experience related to affordable housing andcommunity development in Chicago, while learning about other markets throughour national network.
The Enterprise - Chicago office has four priority program areas: equitabletransit-oriented development, sustainability and resiliency, health andhousing, and preservation of housing affordability. The internship will focuson one or more projects and will support grant management along with otheroffice activities as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare marketing materials about Enterprise?s policy, programmatic, and investment work
Draft blog posts, info-graphics, website and social media content
Assist with event planning and meeting logistics
Conduct research on housing and community development issues
Conduct data and spatial analysis
Liaison with community partners and other stakeholders
Contribute to ongoing strategic planning
Administrative assistance as needed
Take on new responsibilities as assigned

Graduate student in Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields. Graduate students preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills

Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong research skills and the ability to analyze and report/summarize findings
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Familiarity with affordable housing and community development issues
Strong interest and commitment to community development.
Lived experience and/or service that informs worldviews and/or perspectives about creating social equity across race, ethnicity, language, social class, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, and other dimensions.
Commitment to diversity, racial equity and inclusion

Additional Information
Full-time summer position (June through August) with the opportunity to be extended beyond this time frame.
