Inside Sales Representative Literal sales reps get Stock Options, Tuition Payment, Flexible/Remote work and sell a product that customers immediately love. Great base pay + uncapped sales commissions. Sales Account Representatives focus on growing new revenue through strategic, relationship:based selling, a hunter mentality, and educating K:12 leaders on the value of Literal's solutions for their students. You will also be teamed up with an experienced Educational Regional Sales Rep. Together youll work a territory and seek fame and fortune
This role isnt for everyone. We're a (funded) startup, you'll have very little support, only basic training and long sales cycles. Sure, we have a killer product, and an amazing team, great benefits... but you're going to get a week of intensive training and then we'll throw you in the deep:end where only the rockstars and producers will thrive

Requirements
Job Description:
Develop relationships
You'll generate many of your own leads and nurture them through the sales process
In many cases youll be giving away free accounts and helping teachers engage their students (at which point they turn into key referral engines to close large school and district deals
Phone calls, emails and social outreach will be key metrics of success
Following up with contacts and moving leads closer to personal meetings and demos
Develop human to human relationships and be a trusted consultant to school and district administration
Closing Sweet Deals
Conducting demos both in person and via remote screenshares
Consistently following up with contacts to progress them through the sales funnel
Create proposals and mutual sales timelines for each client
Drive net:new revenue growth through new district acquisition and expansion of current accounts
Email Marketing
Write and test variations of email copy to convert prospects to clients
Work with email automation tools to automatically keep prospects ready to buy
Employ a variety of techniques to track response rates to our different outreach initiatives
Be creative in looking for ways to improve our existing process to maximize the team's success
Develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and build reliable forecasts

An Ideal Candidate:
Most importantly:
Will be driven and hungry to succeed
Can be given a vision or goal and figure out how to make it happen
Has a bias towards action (Get stuff done)
And:
1:3 years experience in sales (bonus points if it's B2B sales and Extra bonus points if its in the Education space)
Will have experience in building a sales pipeline
Comfortable building relationships from initial cold calls over several months.
REQUIRED: Must feel comfortable cold calling (Although that's not the majority of what we do, it is a key part of building up your pipeline)
