CHOSEN Talent Search is seeking a Hyper-spectral Imaging Engineer (ELECTRO-OPTICS SYSTEMS ENGINEER) for a dynamic, Fortune 500 Aerospace and Defense company. Must be US CITIZEN. Top-Notch benefits! Competitive salary! Relocation available!
Develop reliable, multi-spectral and hyper-spectral systems for both commercial and defense applications.
Develop initial system concepts and architectures that support product functionality.
Work closely with customers to refine and generate system requirements.
Provide design support for electronics, optics, sensors, and payloads.
Work with a multi-disciplined engineering team to provide hyper-spectral product solutions that meet or exceed design specifications.

BS in Engineering (systems, optics, electrical, physics)

10+ years in electro-optic related systems development (defense systems experience highly preferred).
Ability to design and oversee implementation to visible to IR sensors, spectrometers, optical systems, laser systems and precision mechanism/motion controls
Good hands-on product development skills and competence with product development tools in engineering (e.g., Matlab, Code V, Zemax, OrCad, SolidWorks, etc.), project management (MS/Project) and lab (e.g., interferometer)

Required to sign a covenant not to compete.
