HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the overall administration and function of Human Resources, while promoting and protecting the interests of Emerald.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Payroll
o Collect and input payroll data information (including, but not limited to salary changes, employee personal information changes, benefit deductions, etc.) into payroll system and ensure the accurate and timely submission of weekly payroll for entire company.
o Distribute and mail payroll checks and stubs to appropriate parties and job sites.
o Submit the processed weekly payroll reports to executives.
Allocate and upload payroll reports into company?s cost accounting system on a weekly basis.

o Maintain and track employees? paid time off.
Benefits
o Work alongside executive and insurance carrier with annual benefits open enrollment.
Communicate and work alongside office and field personnel to ensure all employees provide open enrollment documentation.

o Track and communicate benefit eligibility to ensure proper documentation is provided in a timely manner.
Training & Development
o Coordinating training needs assessments with executive and project management team for training needs. * *
__* o Develop and implement policies and procedures with directive from executive.*
__* o Track periodic employee reviews with executive and project management team to ensure timely completion of them.*
__o Assist and make recommendations to the management team with any disciplinary issues, in accordance with company?s progressive discipline system set forth.
Recruitment & Onboarding* *
__* o Brainstorm and implement recruitment strategies with the executive team, including*
__o Review and process new employee applications. o Schedule pre-employment drug testing.
Safety* *
__* o Work alongside Safety Manager on all workplace safety initiatives.*
__* o Ensure that all workers compensation related inquiries are answered in a timely manner with the worker?s compensation carrier, in accordance with State deadlines.*
** Including, but not limited to, claims submissions with the workers compensation carrier, OSHA 300s
Compliance* *
__* o Ensure accurate and up-to-date information for all personnel files and I-9s through audits*
__* o Ensuring that company remains abreast of evolving HR laws.*
__* o Responsible for timely submissions of worker?s compensation and OCIP/CCIP payroll information on a monthly basis.*
__o Work alongside executive and legal on any open legal issues.

_Requirements: _
BS/BA in a related field and/or minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience required. o Experience in leading a team highly preferred.
Knowledge of HR laws (federal and State) required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
Bluebeam Revu or Adobe experience required.
Must have strong organization and communication skills and the ability to multi-task in an environment with shifting priorities.
