TheHR Business Partner IIis responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting the Human Resources function. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all property employees.
Administers performance evaluation program and revises, as necessary.
Assists with hiring effort for all employees; assists with new-employee orientations; writes and places advertisements.
Handles employee relations counseling and termination counseling.
Performs administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining property organization charts, data entry and system maintenance in HRIS.
Maintains and audits HR Information System records, employee files and compiles reports from database.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Administers corporate level company Intranet pages for human resources.
Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.
Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
