Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in hospice or healthcare operations and sales managementAt least 3 years of progressive experience managing operations in healthcare, hospice preferredDemonstrated ability to supervise and direct management personnelUnderstanding of business processes and systems that support the healthcare industryExperience in changing organizational processes to implement standard methods and practicesMust have outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with a strong executive presencePossess good organization, people and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and strategies simultaneouslyKnowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferredExperience with EMR/Customer Relationship software is a plusWhat You Will Do: Organize and direct Agency's ongoing functions, including operational and organizational planning, budgeting and monitoring progress toward operational and strategic goalsEnsure interdisciplinary care is provided while ethical business and clinical practice are maintainedDirect staff in performance of duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation and provision of services to patientsEnsure documentation of services provided is accurate and timelyEmploy qualified personnel and ensure adequate staff education and evaluation, including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing and performance improvement.
