Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic FULL:TIME 28/hr Starting hourly pay is between 25.00 and 32.00/hour depending on experience. The successful candidate needs to be qualified to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks, and cranes. Qualified applicants will be proficient in hydraulic system diagnostics and repair, electrical system diagnostics, and be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics as well as use fluid and load testing tools. Experience with utility:type equipment a plus. Must have their own tools. Possess the ability to communicate both written and verbal with co:workers and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
Experience with Aerial Lifts, hydraulic systems/equipment, reading blueprints and schematics
Previous Diesel Chassis experience
Basic computer skills
Fluid Power Society Certification
JLG or Genie experience
Experience with heavy component installations (climbing up, down and under trucks or aerial man lift baskets)
Need to supply/obtain all required tools
Welding skills
CDL License
Knowledge or experience in automotive/truck and trailer brakes, engine work, chassis work, and AC certification

Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Must have knowledge and skill with hydraulics, automotive electronics, and 110 volt systems
