Position Purpose
The General Labor, Bakery:Sanitation is responsible for detail cleaning necessary to establish and maintain a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products. Will also clean all parts of the building, including restrooms and kitchens and respond to food safety and housekeeping needs.
Key Accountabilities
The General Labor, Bakery:Sanitation is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness and operation of sanitation equipment and chemicals, including floors and walls, in accordance with ARYZTA established specifications.
Responsibilities
:
Is aware of the chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions and applies knowledge in their proper use. Ensure proper storage of all cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies as directed

Visually inspect and complete sanitation checklist for each area cleaned
:
May operate sanitation cleaning equipment such as but not limited to: Floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, industrial vacuums, scissor lifts, pressure washers, steam cleaners, buffing machines and all:purpose cleaners

Maintains accurate cleaning records of equipment and assigned areas as required
:
Clean and sanitize baking/batching/ingredient prep equipment which includes but is not limited to: Pots and pans
:
Understand and follow hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
:
Responsible for reporting and taking necessary actions to ensure food safety and prevent food quality problems from occurring; communicating safety, quality, production, maintenance and hygiene issues to appropriate personnel
:
