We are seeking a Freight Manager to oversee and control all aspects of freight and warehousing, while developing and implementing strategy for both kp?s Pharma, Health, and Specialties (PHS) division and the broader kp business. Able to meet customer service OTIF requirements?
Experienced in managing quality oversight for transport service providers?

As a Freight Manager you are a skilled logistics professional able to strategically target reduced logistics costs. You drive for results so you aim to meet deliverables. You are skilled at building partnerships so you provide site support, ensuring sites have the tools and processes in place to meet the freight and warehousing optimization goals. You excel at customer service, making customer and quality requirements a top priority that receives continuous improvement. As a trusted and knowledgeable business partner, you have no problems collecting data and making smart business decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s/Master?s Degree.
Experience working for a logistics provider or similar internal experience (work for top 5 global suppliers a plus).
10 years of professional experience; preferably in freight and warehousing (3PL, best price partners, warehousing footprint, efficient loading, distribution requirements).
Six sigma green or black belt certification preferred.
Analytical and strategic capability to enable both transparent communication of targets and strategies.
Abilities to cross-functionally collaborate (quality, sales, finance, etc.).
Strong business and finance acumen.
You enjoy travelling (50 %+) and acting independently, but promote teamwork.
A high level of fluency in English, both written and spoken.
This role is located in scenic Gordonsville, VA.
