When Delivery Matters Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a critical part of keeping our manufacturing team operating at full capacity! The Maintenance Technician responds to and troubleshoots electrical and/or mechanical problems, dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining existing machinery and equipment to keep our equipment at its optimal condition. Electrical experience is highly desired. Excellent benefits! Essential Job Functions Dismantle, rebuild and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools Installs wiring of electronic devices Installation of a wide range of new and used equipment Wiring new electrical panels by following electrical drawings/prints Installation of both water and electrical plumbing Support required ISO documents/records associated with this department. Observe and listen to operating machinery or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs Maintains the preventive maintenance on equipment, as scheduled Skills and Abilities : Strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of electrical wiring and components; Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase, and low voltage controls AC DC motor controls Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprint Ability to work independently; self-starter Strong written and verbal communication skills Forklift driving experience desired. Qualifications Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent. 2-5 of experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical problems Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements. (Examples: Lock Out/Tag Out, Pinch Points, electrical codes, HMIS/MSDS requirements, waste disposal.)
