The Executive Leadership Development Director will play a significant role in building leadership capability needed to support Childrens rapid growth by designing and delivering programs and curriculum for our senior leadership teams.This leader will be responsible for identifying leadership development needs and designing and implementing programs that close current leadership gaps as well as develop future capability. Additional responsibilities will include designing and facilitating senior leadership and other targeted leadership curriculum, administering and debriefing leader assessments, coaching, team building and facilitation, and supporting other members of the Leadership Development team. This leader will also be responsible for designing, planning and implementing development programs for annual targeted development across all leadership levels each year. Finally, the Director will provide performance coaching to leaders who have participated in a competency based 360 assessment, or other tools adopted by the organization.


:Serve as internal expert on the assessment, development and delivery of programs for Executive and senior level leadership levels.
:Partner with Executive team, Human Resources, Recruiting team and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate development for identified executive populations.
:Ensure all supporting leadership development processes are aligned, valid, and measured against desired outcomes/deliverables. Report results as required.
:Design and develop multi:model curriculum to develop high:potential internal talent for critical roles across all levels of leadership.
:Design, develop and deliver learning for events scaling in size and scope up to 300 people that cross multiple levels.
:Cultivate partnering relationships with third:party vendors.
:Stay current on leading trends and best practices in leadership development and provide recommendations to senior HR and System executives on leadership development.
:Develop and manage project plans for critical learning initiatives.
:Serve as executive coach for program participants; manage external coaching resources as appropriate.
:Facilitate and build strong connections both in program content and with participant cohorts, as participants advance through program sessions and levels.
:Establish presence with audience members and facilitate session dynamics to promote engagement consistent with adult:learning best practices.
:Maintain certification in assessments. Provide developmental feedback and coaching to program participants and others as identified.
:Independently resolve problems and issues within scope of assignments.

:At least eight (8) years of experience designing and delivering leadership programs, and at least three (3) years doing so at the senior most level of the organization (Chief/Officer level).
:Hands on experience with advanced psychometric assessments tools such as Hogan360, MBTI, Birkman, and DiSC.*

:A Masters degree in Learning, Organizational Development, Health or Business Administration, or related fields is required.

:Deep expertise in developing and providing performance coaching with leaders at the Officer, Vice President, and Director levels. Significant experience interacting with executives and facilitating executive:level meetings.
:Ability to scale content to meet the needs of the level of the learner.
:Expertise with adult learning theory and fitting delivery method to content.
:Proven ability to influence, educate, and gain support of senior leaders for leadership development, the role leaders play in developing other leaders, and the activities needed to support effective leadership development.
