ASM Global is seeking an Executive Director Procurement to drive margin improvement through ASM:wide Procurement initiatives. Creates strategy and processes for purchasing goods and services at facilities and corporate. Oversees procurement platforms/technology and supports facilities in driving procurement efficiencies. Manages vendors, compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Creates and manages short, medium and long:term Procurement strategy, including insourced vs. outsourced models
Works with Operations leaders to understand their requirements and recommend alternative products and suppliers
Analyzes procurement spend across facilities, prioritizes highest value items and services, and drives programs to reduce spend
Maintains relationships, and negotiates directly, with largest vendors and group purchasing organizations
Develops, implements and tracks metrics around quality, cost and inventory/assurance; provides periodic and ad:hoc reports to leadership team
Create systems and processes to onboard, certify and manage vendors, including managing vendor diversity
Develops and manages procurement platforms that enable decentralized procurement by ASM facilities
Manages risk and compliance related to procurement

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Globals policies and applicable laws and US GAAP reporting guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of procurement, including creating new procurement programs and establishing vendor relationships.
Experience with procurement:related compliance and risk management
Experience with procurement platforms and technologies
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi:task and work in a team environment
Strong negotiation skills and an ability to persuade and influence at all levels
Highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment with financial constraints
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within venue management industry

Physical Restrictions

The Ex Director Procurement must be able to grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position requires sitting and working on the computer as well as the phone. Position requires travel and may have an irregular work schedule.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum education level: Bachelors degree
15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related roles
