As a Scrum Master within the Americas Technology Office (ATO), you will be a key resource across multiple teams ensuring that products and features are delivered on time and on budget. You run all aspects from scoping and executing to putting plans in place, tracking progress, through to delivery of a quality solution. You partner with other areas of the business, cross functionally and across the enterprise, to be sure that all resources are ready when needed. You will be responsible for all horizontal and support functions for the delivery teams including driving the strategic needs of the business while ensuring the business, financial and technical challenges/needs are achieved. Essential Duties:
50%Leading all aspects of technical product/feature delivery simultaneously:Ensure team & backlog alignment with customer and stakeholder priorities

Planning work and projecting key technical outcomes

Assign task requests to team members and track progress accordingly

Handle and mitigate escalations from users regarding team member?s work. Manage user expectations.

Mentor team members on best practices

Motivate team members to achieve high productivity in a demanding environment

Own, prepare and deliver communications and manage action items across team members:
Provide customer, partner and stakeholder updates for progress against key initiatives
Develop a good understanding of the customers? functions and needs and effectively communicate those in easy to understand terms.
Manage the relationship with partner functions, including follow-ups
Work with and abide by processes and teams from the various PMO organizations (ITPD, RAID, etc.)

Define and ensure quality of outcomes are met, and drive a culture of continuous improvement:Track and manage to financial commitments, both from a backlog/feature delivery and business outcome perspective

Track and manage to business results and ensure delivery team scope and plans are aligned to those business outcomes

Drive a culture of continuous change and improvement across direct delivery teams and partner organizations


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONSScrum Master and/or Product Owner certification or the equivalent job experience
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or the equivalent in job experience and certifications.

TECHNICAL SKILLSDemonstrated experience with Agile methodology tooling: Atlassian Jira & Confluence (preferably 3+ years)
Demonstrated experience with Waterfall methodology tooling: Microsoft Project and related tools: MS Project Server, Clarity, etc. (preferably 3+ years)

EXPERIENCETen or more years of internal or external technology, finance, audit or risk management experience
3 to 5 years of technology program coordination experience using one or more agile methodologies in complex technical environments with an in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile Methodologies to multiple teams.
Problem resolution experience supported by strong analytical and communication skills, sound judgment and ability to work effectively with team members, product owners, and management.
Position requires an understanding of enterprise technology and associated applications relevant to financial services business & technology functions.
Hands-on individual that coaches the teams, consulting with all layers of the organization recommending the right Agile model that fits the organizational culture guiding multiple teams on a day to day basis, leveraging existing Agile practices for continuous improvement.
Strong understanding and experience with SCRUM both as a hands-on coach and as a strategist to lead the teams through Agile transformation with a focus on SCRUM methodology
Employs strong critical thinking skills to identify pragmatic recommendations within an evolving and increasingly complex regulatory and risk management environment

COMMUNICATION & LEADERSHIP SKILLSProven ability to collaborate and gain consensus among a varied constituency.
Ability to direct teams to deliver results that meet the business need and conform to standards of quality according to IT best practices.
Able to bridge the gap between business subject matter expertise and technical skills, translating SME knowledge to staff members via mentorship and knowledge transfer.
