Revance is preparing to launch a first in class:challenger brand to the medical aesthetics market and seeking a Sr. Director/Director of Marketing, Aesthetics. This person will lead the marketing team in aesthetics to prepare for product launch in the highly competitive aesthetics space. Primary focus, on leading overall strategy, creative, and content, designed to drive awareness, and build brand equity. This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of marketing, strategy, market research, branding, segmentation, product positioning, promotion, messaging, issues management, budget management, and overall flawless launch execution. He/she will lead our marketing team and engagement plans through marketing strategies, goals, and tactics. This role will help ensure key elements of the launch are properly planned and executed. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and implementing marketing and advertising initiatives, tracking data, managing agency partners, executing brand campaigns and other strategic imperatives, while working across functions to ensure launch readiness. This role ensures successful integration of our product into aesthetic practices through plans and initiatives. He/She fills an important customer:facing role while collaborating closely with internal, cross:functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong track:record demonstrating how s/he has successfully taken ideas or brands from inception to launch.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of marketing plans for the U.S. across integrated professional channels.

Shape and communicate our vision and mission. Drive product category as a business with end:to:end accountability and build brand equity.

Devise new, unique and innovative growth strategies to build awareness and positioning of this new brand

Collaboration with both internal and external third parties to ensure the success of all initiatives and programs

Ensure tight alignment across the company with significant experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders

Manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and allocated budget

Recognize and recommend market research needs, develop stimuli, and uncover insights to support strategy development

Develops close relationship with R and D, regulatory, medical, legal, medical affairs, operations and key opinion leaders to ensure cross functional alignment and viable go to market strategies

Develops and leads forecast (units and revenue) and margin analysis partnering with finance, operations, and manufacturing to ensure tracking to overall sales/revenue number

Oversee the management of the Promotional Budget to ensure appropriate prioritization of resources

Lead marketing team with demonstrated ability in people management

Measure and report on brand KPIs to ensure initiatives are meeting or exceeding delivery goals, increasing ROI and revenue

Requirements

Minimum Required:

8+ years of marketing (Health care or Beauty preferred)

Mix of small biotech and large pharma company (professional and consumer marketing experience preferred)

Ability to work in a fast:paced, highly visible and dynamic environment is critical;

Experience in developing launch strategies and go to market plans

Strong knowledge of analytics, forecasting, budgeting and key revenue drivers

Demonstrated leadership experience in leading marketing teams

Excellent presentation skills and leadership presence

Preferred:

Pharmaceutical, device, bio:tech, or aesthetics experience preferred

Product Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Brand Strategy

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum Required:

Bachelors degree; MBA preferred

8+ years relevant marketing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry (Aesthetics experience preferred)
